Kadampuzha Sree Bhagavathy Temple in Malappuram is the only temple in Kerala where the goddess is worshipped without an idol or physical form - devotees worship a sacred flame (Nilavilakku) behind a curtain. The temple is especially popular among those praying for marriage and is one of the busiest Devi temples in Kerala.
