Begin the Navagraha circuit at Suryanar Koil, the main temple dedicated to Surya (Sun God). This is the only temple where all nine planetary deities are enshrined together.
The nine Navagraha temples are spread across Kumbakonam and Thanjavur districts within a 30-40 km radius. Hire a taxi for the day to cover all nine temples systematically.
Visit temples dedicated to Moon (Thingaloor), Mars (Vaitheeswaran), Mercury (Thiruvenkadu), Jupiter (Alangudi), Venus (Kanjanoor), Saturn (Thirunallar), Rahu (Thirunageswaram), and Ketu (Keezhperumpallam).
Completing all nine temples is believed to neutralize malefic planetary influences and bring astrological balance. The circuit can be done in a single day with a dedicated vehicle.
