Enter the temple at the southernmost tip of India, right on the seashore where the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and Bay of Bengal meet. Remove footwear before entering.
Take darshan of Goddess Kanyakumari (Bhagavathy Amman), the virgin goddess. The diamond nose-ring of the Goddess is said to be so brilliant that the eastern temple door is kept shut to prevent ships from being lured by its sparkle.
After darshan, visit the seafront where three seas meet. Watch the famous sunrise or sunset. Visit the nearby Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue by ferry.
