Kalpeshwar Temple is the fifth and only year-round accessible Panch Kedar temple, where Shiva's matted hair (Jata) appeared. Located at 2,200m near Urgam village in Chamoli, it requires only a 1 km walk from the road. The temple is set in a natural rock cave surrounded by terraced fields.
