Begin at the main Jageshwar Mahadev Temple, housing what some traditions claim is the Nagesh Jyotirlinga. The temple dates to the 7th-9th century and features intricate stone carvings of the Nagara architectural style.
Visit the largest temple in the complex - Dandeshwar - with its impressive stone shikhara. The temple houses a large Shiva Lingam and features some of the finest stone carvings in the complex.
Walk through the ASI-protected complex of 124 stone temples ranging from the 7th to 14th century. Each temple has unique carvings depicting Hindu deities, mythological scenes, and geometric patterns. The deodar forest and Jata Ganga stream create an ancient, timeless atmosphere.
Visit the ASI Archaeological Museum near the complex to see stone sculptures, inscriptions, and artifacts excavated from the temple site. Entry is free and it provides excellent context for the temple complex.
