Travel to Matabari in Udaipur, Tripura. The temple is on a small hillock beside the Kalyan Sagar lake. Enter through the main gate.
Climb to the main temple dedicated to Tripura Sundari (a form of Goddess Kali/Parvati). The sanctum houses the Kali idol. This is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where the right foot of Goddess Sati fell.
Visit the picturesque Kalyan Sagar lake beside the temple. The lake has sacred turtles (considered incarnations of the Goddess) that devotees feed. The lake setting is serene and beautiful.
