Walk through the narrow lanes of Pushkar town to the temple near Pushkar Lake. Remove footwear at the shoe stand. Cover your head before entering. The temple has a distinctive red spire (shikhara).
Enter the marble-floored main hall and take darshan of the four-headed Brahma idol, the only one of its kind worshipped in the world. The idol has four faces representing the four Vedas and holds a spoon, lotus, manuscript, and rosary.
Visit the shrines of Goddess Saraswati (Brahma's consort) and Gayatri within the temple complex. Observe the silver turtle (Brahma's vahana) on the temple floor.
After darshan, visit the sacred Pushkar Lake nearby. There are 52 ghats around the lake. A dip in the lake is considered equivalent to performing the Ashwamedha Yajna.
