IRCTC Launches Special Char Dham Yatra Package at ₹15,999

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled its most affordable Char Dham Yatra package yet, priced at Rs 15,999 per person for a 10-day pilgrimage covering Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The package was announced by IRCTC Tourism Division on March 5, 2026.
The budget-friendly package includes train travel from Delhi to Haridwar and back, AC bus transport throughout the yatra circuit, accommodation in government-approved dharamshalas and budget hotels, and vegetarian meals. Pilgrims can also opt for an upgraded package at Rs 24,999 that includes helicopter rides for the Kedarnath leg and hotel accommodation.
IRCTC spokesperson confirmed that the first batch departs on May 10, 2026, with subsequent batches every three days throughout the yatra season until October. Online bookings open on April 1 through the IRCTC tourism portal and the IRCTC Rail Connect app.
The corporation has partnered with the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board to ensure quality services throughout the journey. Medical support teams will accompany each batch, and comprehensive travel insurance is included in the package price. Senior citizens above 65 years receive an additional 10% discount on the base fare.
