You will need: 4 cups whole milk, 1/4 cup rice (washed), 1/4 cup sugar, 2-3 cardamom pods, a handful of chopped almonds and raisins. Step 1: Boil milk in a heavy pot (ask an adult). Step 2: Add washed rice and stir. Step 3: Cook on low heat for 25 minutes, stirring often. Step 4: Add sugar, cardamom, and nuts. Step 5: Cook 5 more minutes. Step 6: Serve warm or chilled.
